We started in the rain at the Club Championship at Deer Creek, but ended up with a nice day to play.  The Club Champions this year are Ed Dumblauskas (Men's A), Al Dagys (Men's B), Andy Rasutis (Men's C), Lenny Leseckas (Men's D), Irena Kleiza (Women's A) and Aldona Urba (Women's B).​ Full results along with Golfer of the Year standings are available in Documents.  The Golfer of the Year competition is definitely heating up.

 

The next outing will be held on Sunday, Sept 13 at Sanctuary G.C. in New Lenox.  This will be a re-do of the rained out Shamble.  Rates are $66 riding and $50 walking. A hot dog lunch is included courtesy of Sanctuary G.C.

 

The Shamble is a 4 person 2 best ball net team event. We will make up the teams.  Everyone tees off. The team picks the best shot. From that spot, all continue to play the hole with their own ball. The team score for that hole is the total of 2 best ball net scores.  Handicaps will be at 75%.

 

Registration is now open and ends this Friday, Sept. 4.  Please sign up ASAP since spots do fill up fast.  Contact Ramune Dagys to sign up.

 

Mark your calendars!  The Season Finale is Sept 27 at Silver Lake North.  This is a 2 person team event in 2 categories: Male/Male and Male/Female.  You can make up your own 2 person team or we can find you a partner.  This will be a 10:44 am start with costs of $88 riding & $63 walking. Hot dog lunch is included.  

 

Our annual Awards Banquet will be held after golf.  Cash bar opens @ 3:30 with dinner @ 4:30.

$40 adults and $20 for kids under 15 y/o. Reservations will be taken in a few weeks.  Spouses, significant others & friends are all invited to attend.
